Author's biography

Alfonso Durán-Pich holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Deusto, a degree in psychology from the University of Barcelona, ​​Master in Information Society and Knowledge by the Open University of Catalunya (PhD courses), Diploma in Business Administration (SEP) for the Stanford Business School, Graduate in Journalism by the Official School of Journalism of Madrid. specialized studies in macro- and microeconomics with Professor Peter Navarro of the University of Irvine (California), and financial markets with Professor Robert Shiller of Yale University.

He is a member of the Conway Hall Ethical Society, the American Marketing Association, the Academy of Management, the Skeptics Society, the Official College of Psicòlegs de Catalunya and the Spanish chapter of old pupils of the Stanford Business School.

He is also a professional manager and has been president and managing director of companies from several industries, and he is the author of numerous books on economy, business and politics. He writes a blog about topical issues with notable success: www.alfdurancorner.com
