Javier Espila (Málaga, 1981) is an illustrator who loves writing fantasy stories for children with lots of humour. He studied graphic design in the School of Art San Telmo, but his passion for drawing brought him to collaborate with the magazine ¡Dibus! (Editorial Norma) by writing and drawing satirical vignettes for four years. He has created vignettes for the satirical Spanish magazine El Jueves (where he was awarded the Gin Prize for graphic humour) and for the newspaper La Opinión de Málaga. He is basically a faker, an illustrator who uses writing to laugh and draw whatever he wants.
