Nuria Labari (Santander, 1979) is a Spanish journalist and writer. She has a degree in Political Science from the University of the Basque Country. She studied International Relations in the University Insitution Ortega y Gasset and Creative Writing in the Contemporary Humanities School of Madrid. She has worked as a journalist in several prominent magazines and digital newspapers. She is currently editor in chief of Telecinco.es, one of the Spain’s most important television channels.
Los borrachos de mi vida (2009, VII Caja de Madrid Prize for the Novel) was her first novel. In 2016, she published her second work Cosas que brillan cuando están rotas (Círculo de Tiza). Her latest novel, La mejor madre del mundo, will be published by Literatura Random House in 2019. She has also published the children book El gran libro de los niños extraordinarios (Silonia Ediciones, 2018).
