Author's biography

Blas Malo (Alcázar de San Juan, Ciudad Real, 1977) is a civil engineer and a passionate about history. He has given talks about historic fiction and has organised literary tours in Granada among his novels’ scenarios.  His first novel, El esclavo de la Al-hambra, set in the Nazarite Kingdom of Granada of the 14th century, was published by Ediciones B in 2010, to great critics and readers acclaim. It was followed by the novels El Mármara en llamas (Ediciones B, 2012), El señor de Castilla (Ediciones B, 2013), La furia del Fénix (Ediciones B, 2016) and El veneciano (Edhasa, 2018).
