Dolors Millat (Sort, 1953) has a degree in Ancient History by the University of Barcelona. In 1987 she moved to Montreal (Canada), where she discovered the world of creative writing schools. She is one of the founders of the first Catalonia’s creative writing school. She was chief of studies of the prestigious writing school Ateneu Barcelonès for four years. In 2003 she was tasked with the foundation and direction of the Writers School Alonso Quijano in La Mancha. About creative writing, she has published El oficio de escritor and Cómo mejorar un texto literario (Alba Editorial). She has also published three novels in Catalan with great critic’s acclaim.
