Estefanía Salyers was born in Zaragoza and she has lived in several countries. Germany, Italy, England, Colombia and United States are some of the places that has marked her life where she has worked as a journalist and film and television scriptwriter. Her professional career begins working on the radio, in several media such as Cadena Ser or Onda Cero. Later on she starts working on television and becomes part of MTV in London and Madrid. She has written some successful Spanish tv series like Yo soy Bea and has developed programs for several prominent Spanish producers. She currently lives between Madrid and New York, where she combines her task as a writer with her two other passions, photography and documentaries. She has published the novels El amor no se compra, pero a veces sale muy caro (Planeta, 2015) and Una vida de perros (Plaza & Janés, 2018).
