Albalucía Ángel Marulanda (born in Pereira, Colombia, 1939) is a Colombian writer, folksinger, and novelist of the Latin American Boom. She is known as a pioneer of Latin American postmodernism for her novels. She has mainly published novels, but also short stories, theatre, essay and poetry.  Her most influential work is Estaba la pájara pinta sentada en el verde limón (1975), a novel set in the Colombia of her youth, marked by the civil war and known as La Violenta (1948-1958). With this work she won the Vivencias de Cali Prize in the Bienal Nacional de Novela.
